President’s Message – December 2013

Dear Santa,

First of all I want to thank you for all the years you thought I was a good girl. I have truly been blessed my entire life to wake up and find out that there is indeed a Santa.  But as you get older you realize that material things are just not as important as they once were. In fact this year the things on my list don’t include any.

This year my Christmas list includes the following:

  • Give love and care to every child born.
  • Give healing to every human suffering pain and sorrow from disease or lose of a loved one.
  • Give our hearts the ability to treat the most vulnerable among us with respect and dignity.
  • Give blessings and safety to all of our military men and women.
  • Bless others with the same wonderful family and friendships I have.

But Santa, my most urgent wish is for my country. I want my country back! I want a country where:

  • A President tells the truth.
  • A congress is trustworthy.
  • Leaders that believe in our founding principles and the Constitution of the United States.
  • Americans are proud to be Americans and hard work and ingenuity enable you to experience the American dream.
  • People come to this country legally and all desire to be Americans and not someone with a hyphen before the word.
  • A revival of the truth and belief that “all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

PS. And if I am really good until December 31st can you bring me a new US Senate in 2014 led by people that believe all the above!
